Lawcus Farm Guesthouse appears in Alastair Sawday's Special Places to Stay, Ireland

Welcome To
Lawcus Farm Guest House
Lawcus Farm Guesthouse is situated on
the outskirts of Kilkenny between the medieval village
of Kells and Stoneyford. Lawcus Farm is  a superbly
renovated stone farm house which offers its guests
luxury and tranquility. Less than a stones throw away
the cut grass paths bring you down to the Kings River
where you may encounter some of her myriad of
wildlife. Wild flowers also survive here on this ancient
site.
If you stay during the winter months salmon can often be
seen in the pools below the house or just along the
banks. You can watch the salmon and trout jump the
weir on there travel up stream to spawn.
The village pubs are friendly offering traditional music
or a barbecue in a cosy atmosphere. A working water
mill, motte and bailey and the famous Kells Priory are
all within walking distance.
It would give us great pleasure to share this wonderful
part of Ireland with you and make it one to remember.
